About the Directors

Ms. Beth Quackenbush

Ms. Quackenbush is in her 7th year of teaching in the public schools.  She graduated from Nevada High School in Nevada, MO, and went on to Southwest Missouri State University (currently Missouri State University) to pursue a Bachelor of Music Education.  During college, Ms. Quackenbush participated in the PRIDE Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, Wind Symphony, Symphonic Band, Freshman Honor Band, Flute Ensemble, various small ensembles, and was a founding member of the 901 Performance Ensemble (winterguard).  She studied flute under Dr. Jill Heyboer.  She is a member of Missouri Bandmasters Association, MENC, and Kappa Kappa Psi - National Honorary Band Service Fraternity.

After graduating from MSU in 2004, Ms. Quackenbush became the Assistant Band Director in West Plains, MO, where she taught for three years.  Currently, Ms. Quackenbush is in her fourth year as the Assistant Band Director in Warren County R-3 Schools.  She teaches middle school band, jazz band, middle school pep band, assists with the high school band program, and is the colorguard sponsor.
